organisation as a Trustee!
Garden House Hospice Care provides
specialist palliative care and free
wellbeing services for patients, families
and carers facing life-limiting illnesses.
We are seeking a HR professional to
join our Board and contribute to the
charity’s development and success.
As a Trustee, you will play a key role in
shaping our People and Culture strategy
and governance, ensuring that we are
best positioned to attract, retain, and
develop talented staff and volunteers. You
will provide strategic HR guidance and
support, helping to build an organisational
culture that reflects our values and
mission.
We strive to be an inclusive and diverse

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• A background in Human Resources,
ideally at a strategic level (Senior HR
Manager, Director, or equivalent)

• Strong knowledge of HR best practices,
employment law, and compliance
• Experience in strategic HR leadership
and the ability to work with non-profit
organisations
• A passion for the charity sector and

interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with both a
diverse team and stakeholders
